Active item gets a left-border glow. Easier to know where you are without reading.
⌘K search in the sidebar, not buried in a menu.
Dashboard greeting with markets-open countdown — sets the mood, anchors the day.
4 hero KPI cards with sparklines + trend deltas. Big numbers, small history charts beside them, vs-prev-period coloured badges.
Equity curve takes 2/3 of the row. The most-looked-at chart gets the most space.
"Today's checklist" in the right rail. Pre-market routine + market routines in one glance — replaces the buried "rules" section.
